The idea for the business has been around since I was 13 years old. The idea behind the name is to celebrate the many years of hard work and dedication my father invested in his career, as a bus driver, at our local school district, PSJA ISD. After 33 years, my dad decided to retire to spend the rest of his life with my mom, as a retired couple. Unfortunately, he was diagnosed with cancer and lost his battle about a year after his retirement. The Buzz Stop Barbershop is dedicated to my dad and his memory.
Our Approach
Getting a haircut shouldn’t be a chore. When everyone’s invited, the party’s more fun. Making people look great is a sweet job. Drama is not a job requirement.

While we don’t take appointments we recommend to call and check the waitlist. Clients can walk in during regular business hours and we will definitely take care of you. We offer cold waters and great music to pass the time.
